Why did you join Opticos?
I joined Opticos because there are good opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. Working as a management consultant gives you the opportunity to move between different clients and you get the chance to work with new areas to develop within. You work with your Development Coach to identify areas where you get the chance to grow and you are encouraged to play an active role in your own career development. I also found it especially interesting to work with our kind of clients, often internationally well-known Swedish companies, with assignments that are important and have a big impact on our clients.

You have been part of the Young Professionals Programme 2017 / 2018 at Opticos. What was it like?
Being a part of the Young Professionals Program provided me with a wide overview of our areas of expertise. Getting an insight into the type of assignments we typically assist our clients with. The program has also gone more into detail of various different methodologies and frameworks that are common to work with during our assignments. Most courses are provided by Opticos consultants which is an excellent way to get to know your co-workers, many of whom you will work with during team deliveries in different projects.

What did you do before joining Opticos?
Before joining Opticos I was working at a tech-startup that I co-founded. It was a start-up working with mobile app development where I was the Product Owner for the development of apps for IOS & Android. During that time, I was also working part-time as a consultant, mainly within digitalization & e-commerce, assisting companies in their digitalization journey. Prior to that I was studying at university where I did a bachelor’s in industrial engineering & management and master’s in business administration.

What is the best part about your job at Opticos?
One of the best things with working at Opticos is that I constantly learn new things and develop in my role as a management consultant. The assignments are exciting, and we are often working with our clients at their location, so you get to meet a lot of new people and get a good insight into their business, which is always interesting! In the end it gives me a huge satisfaction to leave an assignment with a client I know is really satisfied.
