Why did you join Opticos?
When I started looking for job opportunities, I mainly searched for a smaller yet ambitious company with a “team feeling” where I could start off my career. So, when I found Opticos Young Professional Program it looked like a fantastic chance to combine courses and client assignments together with senior individuals as well as getting experience from areas closely connected to my education.
You are part of the Young Professional Program at Opticos. What is it like?
The Young Professional Program is a fun and interesting mix of theoretical knowledge and practical experience from client assignments. Meeting the rest of the Young Professionals group on a regular basis with a senior member from Opticos has given good value and has helped us during the pandemic situation to meet other colleagues. Moreover, the courses have been designed to ensure the material can be used practically later in client assignments, which has been valuable.
What is the best part about your job at Opticos?
The best part of the job is to be constantly challenged by new projects and assignments which are solved through collaboration and discussions with all parties involved. A great part of the job is also the social aspect, and despite being in a pandemic situation, Opticos has done their best to ensure we all remain in touch and specifically for us in the Young Professionals group to meet all colleagues. Moreover, Opticos has a mix of senior and junior colleagues which always makes the social activities great fun!
What did you do before joining Opticos?
Before joining Opticos I was a student at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg where I graduated with a master’s degree in Innovation and Industrial Management.
