Why did you join Opticos? 

While I was searching for a place to work, my decision to join a company boiled down to three main criteria: To join a smaller consultancy firm with the ambition to grow, a service offering that creates long-term business value as well as a high level of internal competence and expertise.  

Since joining Opticos, I have been surrounded by highly competent, eager to help, co-workers who are specialists within the firm’s core capability areas. Furthermore, the areas of expertise that Opticos offers clients present challenging as well as rewarding assignments which you are continuously prepared for as a Young Professional.

You are part of the Young Professional Program at Opticos. What is it like? 

Thus far, the Young Professional Program has been a great experience. The collaboration between fellow trainees and senior professionals in various Young Professional related assignments and courses has accelerated the onboarding process. Additionally, the skills and theoretical foundation that the Young Professionals Program courses and assignments entail can simultaneously be applied in the client engagements that you are working on in parallel.

What did you do before joining Opticos?  

Before joining Opticos, I studied at the Institute of Technology at Linköping University where I graduated with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a M.Sc. in Operations Management.

How does your work at Opticos challenge you? 

As Opticos is a smaller consultancy firm you quickly take on more responsibility in client assignments and you get the opportunity to “rise to the occasion”. Something I really appreciate with working at Opticos is that senior colleagues don’t rely on micro-management, but rather support you in the process of your engagements which enables a steep learning curve.
