Why did you join Opticos?

Opticos caught my interest because I was eager to take on the role of management consultant at a company that cares about its employees, while also offering significant opportunities for individual development. I have always been interested in taking on different roles within projects, and the role as a management consultant provides excellent conditions for this. Opticos also works with several well-established clients across various industries, which makes the projects highly diverse. Starting my professional career by joining Opticos' Young Professional Program felt like a perfect springboard, allowing me to be involved in client assignments while also participating in trainings conducted mainly from our senior colleagues.

You are part of the Young Professional Program at Opticos. What is it like?

I see the YPP as the best possible start to a professional career. Combining trainings performed by our senior colleagues with many years experience and expertise within IT provides great opportunities for us to apply the theoretical knowledge directly at client assignments. During our first year as Young Professionals, we have been part of projects within Opticos different capabilities, meaning that some of us have gained more knowledge within sourcing, while others have been working on projects within Strategic IT or Digital Business Transformation. I appreciate the time we have taken to share our experiences so far within the group to broaden our knowledge base. We should also not forget all the fun activities we have participated in as Young Professionals, both during work hours and outside of work.

What is the best part about your job at Opticos?

The best thing about working at Opticos is the sense of community and humbleness among colleagues, regardless of age. This creates a supportive environment where you feel confident in taking on new challenges, knowing that there is always support available when encountering obstacles. As new to Opticos, you receive a warm welcome, and it doesn’t take long before you feel like a natural part of the company. The opportunity to work on internal projects alongside client assignments also provides excellent conditions for learning more about the company as well as the markets we are operating in, and other aspects relevant to the role of a management consultant.
