Why did you join Opticos?

Coming out of my studies, I wanted to get into management consulting. Opticos stood out because it's large enough to work with major Nordic clients across strategy, transformation, and IT, but small enough that you're not a number, you see the whole picture of an assignment rather than one slice of it. The entrepreneurial culture appealed to me too. From the first interviews, it was clear that people here are given responsibility early and trusted to run with it.

You are part of the Young Professional Program. What is it like?

It's a well-designed first year and gives you great insight into the consulting profession. The program combines structured training, consulting skills, methodologies, and frameworks with live client work from early on, so you're applying what you learn almost immediately. What makes the biggest difference is the support around it: experienced consultants who take the time to explain their reasoning, and a dedicated development coach to help you set direction.

What is the best part about your job at Opticos?

The variety and how quickly you become useful. In a short time, I've worked across different industries and problem types, which means the learning curve never really flattens out. But the best part is the people. There's a strong culture of sharing knowledge here, nobody expects you to have all the answers, and asking good questions is valued as much as having them.
